Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron said he was proud to be the Prime Minister under whose government same-sex marriage was legalized in Britain just one year after giving his personal guarantee to do so by 2015. Britain is now “the best place to be gay, lesbian or transgender anywhere in Europe,” he said. Calling it a “landmark social change” and a “great achievement” he added that he wanted to “export” same-sex marriage to other countries around the world.

During a signing ceremony, Cameron told a group of gays and lesbians, “I’ve told the Bill team I’m now going to reassign them because, of course, all over the world people would have been watching this piece of legislation and we’ve set something, I think, of an example of how to pass good legislation in good time. Many other countries are going to want to copy this. And, as you know, I talk about the global race, about how we’ve got to export more and sell more so I’m going to export the bill team. I think they can be part of this global race and take it around the world.”

The developed world is racing all right. It is racing toward the judgments of God. Many nations are debating the issue in Europe and in other parts of the world and the Prime Minister plans to lead the race and “export” gay marriage to nations that don’t have it.

“Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.” Isaiah 59:7-8

For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. O that they were wise, that they understood this, [that] they would consider their latter end!… For their vine [is] of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps… To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.” Deuteronomy 32:28-35
