Justin Welby admitted he sometimes has doubts that God exists, and questions why God doesn’t intervene to prevent injustice.
The comments were made during an interview with the BBC in Bristol cathedral.
“Do you ever doubt?” asked the BBC interviewer, Lucy Tegg.
“Yes, I do.” Welby replied. “In lots of different ways really. It’s a very good question. That means I’ve got to think about what I’m going to say. Yes, I do.” He added, “I love the Psalms, if you look at Psalm 88, that’s full of doubt.”
‘There are moments, sure, where you think ‘Is there a God? Where is God?’ Welby quickly added that, as the leader of the world’s 80 million-strong Anglican community, this was ‘probably not what the archbishop of Canterbury should say.’”
Welby said, however, he was certain about the existence of Jesus.
Welby obviously doesn’t understand the principles of the great controversy between Christ and Satan. God does not force anyone to serve Him. God has to allow Satan to manifest himself so that everyone can see his real agenda and make an informed choice to serve Him or not. Injustice, pain and suffering are all part of the way God prepares sinful human hearts for heaven. God promises to sustain His people through trial and even death. Understanding God through suffering or injustice is difficult if you do not understand the Bible.
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12

Monday September 29th, 2014 at 09:46 AMThe Lord does not force anyone to love Him, or to serve Him.
However, does anyone force Mr. Justin Welby to serve the Lord as an Archbishop?
Since the Archbishop questions the very existence of God, then why does he have a job as a Christian religious leader?
The same principle should apply to regular business life:
A factory with workers who actually questioned the very existence of the factory they where working in;
Perhaps they should find themselves another type of honest work?

Tuesday September 30th, 2014 at 05:44 AMIf anyone does not understand the great controversy, read revelation, with prayer.
Second, buy the book, the Great Controversy.
And what you do not understand ask Ps Hal
Mayer.

Wednesday October 1st, 2014 at 07:08 AMI’ve always heard that He who knows not and knows he know not teach him. Since when do we attack every moment of doubt of an individual (even a public Christian believer). John the baptist knew he was the fore-runner to Christ, yet he sent his disciples to ask if Christ was the one or should they expect another. Because of our finite mind and circumstances it can lead the most ardent believer to doubt even when we understand the Great Controversy.
God bless.

Sunday October 12th, 2014 at 06:57 PMYour most recent Prophetic Intelligence Briefing on the Archbishop of Canterbury/Justin Welby was both nearly disgusting and very timely. Though it does not address his strong ecumenical compromises, it brought to my mind what Archbishop Cranmer endured for the Bible and for Jesus when he was sent to the flames by “Bloody Mary” because he would not take the sacraments of the the Papal church. As you probably know, when he was at the stake he held his right hand over the flames that it be burnt off first for having signed a document recanting some of his views… which he then publicly renounced and restated the (then..) Protestant faith as he was consumed in the fire. We are standing at the end of time…. Not for nothing does EGW remind us plainly that “the Reformation did not end with Luther.. It is to be continued to the close of this world´s history.. As Satan saw that he had failed to crush out the truth by persecution, he again resorted to the same plan of compromise.” (Story of Redemption/pp. 353, 354 –). When [Catholic Queen} Mary took over she called in Archbishop Cranmer & said she would really like to have still “an Archbiship Cranmer, but I want a Catholic Cranmer….” Well she didn’t get that, but Francis may well be on the verge of getting a Catholic Archbishop Welby….

Friday October 17th, 2014 at 09:44 PMIt is very sad indeed that the individuals who are suppposed to lead the flock to the throne of God are doubting the existence of the Creator!! What a shame!!
