Americans voted for change last year. They voted for a man who promised to crack down on illegal immigration, halt the refugee influx and protect the country from terrorist infiltration. But when Donald Trump tried to do those things, he found his path blocked by federal judges.
“Over the last few months, it’s become more clear to people that they voted for a certain outcome and it’s being nullified by these district judges,” said Daniel Horowitz, a senior editor of the Conservative Review.
Soon after the implementation of Trump’s temporary ban on travelers from seven countries and all refugees, U.S. District Judge James Robart in Seattle blocked the order. When the Trump administration revised the ban, removing Iraq from the list of banned countries, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland and U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson in Hawaii blocked the new order. After Trump signed an executive order seeking to withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities, which defy federal immigration law, U.S. District Judge William Orrick III in San Francisco blocked that order, too. And all the judicial blocking was either illegal or nullified one aspect or another of the U.S. Constitution.
Three of those four judges owe their lifetime appointments to Barack Obama. Social transformation without representation, the phenomenon of unelected judges issuing nationwide rulings on foundational issues, such as immigration, that the framers of the U.S. Constitution meant to be decided by the elected branches of the government. This social transformation is currently leading the nation to the left politically.
“What the Democrats have is a perfect racket now where they no longer need to push [their agenda],” Horowitz said. “Even when they lose, their legacy lives on in the courts, and that’s what you’re seeing now. Donald Trump won the election, but it’s meaningless. You can’t even enforce foundational immigration laws because even though the Democrats don’t have the power, they have the courts doing it.”
Many conservatives stress the need to elect Republican presidents who will appoint better judges, but Horowitz pointed out that has not worked well in the past. Robart of Seattle, who blocked Trump’s initial travel ban, was a George W. Bush appointee.
Horowitz solution is to strip the judiciary of the power they have taken from the legislative and executive branches. “The Constitution says Congress can make exceptions and regulations to the jurisdiction of the courts,” Horowitz said. Congress could simply choose to strip the courts of jurisdiction over marriage, immigration or anything else. No need to amend the constitution if Congress would exercise its own power. “Everyone says we need originalists on the court, but we actually need originalists in Congress,” he insisted. “They not only control the subject matter jurisdiction, they control their entire structure,” he said.
There is another issue that concerns Horowitz. “The courts are throwing out every single Republican redistricting map – every one,” he revealed. “No Democrat maps, but every Republican map. That gets to the core of Republican power in the state legislatures, and I think if that reaches a feverish pitch, that’s when we’re going to see a tipping point.”
“Courts of justice are corrupt. Rulers are actuated by desire for gain and love of sensual pleasure. Intemperance has beclouded the faculties of many so that Satan has almost complete control of them. Jurists are perverted, bribed, deluded. Drunkenness and revelry, passion, envy, dishonesty of every sort, are represented among those who administer the laws. “Justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Isaiah 59:14.” The Great Controversy, page 586.
“By their wealth or power, men of rank corrupt the judges and bring false witness against the innocent.” Signs of the Times, January 20, 1881.

Tuesday June 27th, 2017 at 07:41 AMThe American people voted for Hillary Clinton by 3 million more votes than Trump. So when his minions come out and say the American people voted for changed and Trump they actually didn’t. Sure I know he supposedly won the electoral college but with the Russian probe seemingly to implicate people daily and widening of the investigation…the legitimacy of his electoral victory questionable and there is NO doubt the American people did not vote for him.
Speaking of Judges…its amazing to see how the bar was lowered and the standards was lowered for his stolen Supreme Court pick. Wasn’t it interesting to see Gorsuch not have to meet the threshold of the other 8 members of the SCOTUS? Maybe he shouldn’t be allowed to cast a vote or better yet let the next Democratic President removed Gorsuch since he was placed on the bench under what at the least is fraudulent circumstances.

Wednesday June 28th, 2017 at 08:42 PMSir, your comments will not stand up when you consider the facts instead of supposition. Popular votes do not elect the President by order of our Constitution and with good reason! There is no evidence that connects President Trump with voter fraud. After nearly a year of investigations nothing has been found! Judges are suppose to be that..judges and not dictators who try usurp our constitution with their personal opinions.

Saturday July 8th, 2017 at 07:55 AMIt’s indeed a very sad day for us as Christians or as a society to abandon uplifting the banner of Christ and His righteousness and join the forefront of the Republican or Democratic Party and push their talking points instead of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Chtist. If there is one thing that we should have in our mind apart from the fact that Christ is our Saviour is that all political parties are either controlled by Rome or greatly influenced by her. Case in point, both Democratic and Republican parties in Congress are headed by staunch Roman Catholics. Mrs. Clinton vice presidential running mate that she chose, Tim Kaine in a top ranking Jesuit and also her campaign manager, John Podesta. Trump also chose Pence who in his word wad “once ” a catholic. Barack Obama chose Biden who is a catholic as his running mate. John Kerry, our former secretary of state is a catholic and are at least five out of nine of our supreme court jutices. In December of 2016, one of Obama’s chief spokesman msde it plain that no president in history had aligned himself with the Pope as much as Obama did.
We could look at a whole lot more as msny republicans and democrats have sold their souls to Rome, but the sad thing is that while we should be sbout our Father’s business, we’re futhering the enemy’s cause. We need to leave politics alone and as Pastor Hal states read into these things the fulfillment of prophecies and prepare to meet our Lord and Saviour while we hrlp others to do the same. May God help us.

Saturday July 1st, 2017 at 07:48 PMYes, but Pastor Hal you state clearly in your current July monthly sermon that your position is not without bias. Early on you say that the left is attacking the president no matter the good he does. You didn’t elaborate what you identify such good to be. In his almost 6 mos of office his accomplishments have been to undo everything the previous president did, good, bad or indifferent. Now, I’m no apologist for the previous President, but to borrow the language of an outraged environment actvist, it seems this president’s primary goal is a retroactive lynching of the last (whom he vitriolically hounded for his birth certificate and college transcript, while he himself has taken office without releasing his tax returns to clear himself of supposition of fraudulent income and illegal alliances- like Russia, admittance to grabbing the private anatomy of strange women, public lusting of his own daughter and vicious attacks and incitment of violence against others during his rallies and social media, etc., etc., …) all the while being justified, excused and cuddled by good Christian conservatives like yourself. I always believed Christians (not in name only) have a duty to call sin by it’s name, without waiver, regardless of who is guilty of committing it.. Yes, the last president did many horrible things and I have no defense of him. But the Right was vicious, hateful, racist and down right excessively mean spirited and disrespectful to him. This current president with his nasty attitude and vicious incitements have the nerve to complain when he receives like treatment and the good Christian Conservatives have the gall to defend him. What would Jesus Do?

Sunday July 2nd, 2017 at 09:05 AMWell said, mostly. I do not particularly defend Trump any more than Obama. I’m not an apologist for any president. I see good and bad in each one. Trump is no shining moral example, for sure. Our focus is prophetic. And each president has prophetic play. Conservative Christians are salivating for power that Trump has offered them. And that is a prophetic development. Regards, Pr. Hal
