The United Kingdom has gone bonkers. They tried giving school children a diverse array of 25 options to gender-identify themselves on a government-sponsored gender survey. The bizarre and misleading survey, which was given to 13-18-year-olds, included “tri-gender,” and “genderqueer,” “in the middle of boy and girl,” “demi-boy,” “agender,” “gender fluid,” etc, alongside the traditional “boy,” “girl,” “male,” and “female” options. The Children’s Commissioner for England developed the survey. The teens could tick/check as many possibilities as they wanted to the question “how do you define your gender?”
According to one newspaper columnist, U.K. schools are “unnecessarily making all teenagers question their basic identity.” Another editorial in the Daily Mail questioned the “frankly bizarre” questionnaire, noting that it only produced “uncertainty and distress in the minds of all-too-vulnerable adolescents.”
The cities of Brighton and Hove sent the survey to every secondary school in the two cities. The Children’s Commissioner’s office insisted that it would help to reveal “how gender matters to young people.”
After a number of newspapers inquired, the gender survey was withdrawn and the Commissioner’s Office said it would not include the question in future versions of the survey.
The survey incited confusion and jesting. For some children, it could be very unsettling to discover that there are some adults who don’t seem to know the difference between boys and girls. Prompting children to identify themselves with confusing labels does not help them, but actually contributes to the emerging social problems of our times — creating a safety issue.
Children need boundaries. The basic biological categories of male and female are some of the most simple of all, says, Christian Institute Deputy Director Simon Calvert. “We must not intrude on childhood by deliberately confusing school children about what makes a boy a boy or a girl a girl just to satisfy adult political agendas,” Calvert concludes. “We must protect children from being made to feel that passing phases of confused feelings about themselves — which many go through — must be turned into life-changing moral and political decisions.”
The fact that the British government even tried to introduce the survey with that question speaks volumes about the political agenda of at least some UK leaders.

Monday February 15th, 2016 at 06:10 PMEven so Lord Jesus come quickly! I live in the UK and the country is going backwards into darkness from where the reformers brought it into light. Schools are now allowing children to wear which ever uniform they feel is appropriate boys in skirts and dresses or girls in trousers. Whilst girls have have been permitted to wear trousers to school for years now (something I have always detested and never allowed my daughters to do) to accommodate Muslim girls not showing their legs; for boys to wear skirts and dresses is absurd! Hence a hidden agenda to usher in the real agenda of genda confusion. Could Islam again be the hidden agenda to bring about the end of religious liberty? I think so!
