While on a campaign stop in Wisconsin, Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner told an audience that the Christian faith is on the defensive in the United States and the main religious movements in the country need to rally around him.
“We are going to unite the Evangelical movement under our banner…” Trump said. “When the whole evangelical sector gets together no one can beat them.”
Jerry Falwell, Jr., head of Liberty University has publically endorsed Trump. Falwell is one of the most influential Protestant Evangelical leaders in the United States.
Trump has also attracted large numbers of Evangelical Christians within the Republican Party. His success with religious conservatives has been a key element in winning contests in southern and some Midwestern states, where he has drawn them away from Senator Ted Cruz, who has tried to present himself as the champion of those groups.
By appealing to social and religious conservatives Trump bolsters his support. If Trump should become President, he will owe them a lot. They may well use their newfound power to push religious conservatism too far. Whenever Christians gain political power, they tend to use it to restrict religious liberty.
“And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Revelation 13:12

We can only wait and observe how the next President of the United States will act out his or her role in prophecy. We shouldn’t jump to conclusions because we have a sure word of prophecy and every word will be fulfilled.
Sooner or later the Sunday laws will come.
