Google, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft have begun to work together to remove extremist content on all their platforms through an information sharing initiative. They are creating a proactive shared database using unique digital fingerprints known as “hashes” for images and videos that promote terrorism. When one company identifies and removes such a piece of content, the others will be able to use the hash to identify and remove the same piece of content from their own network.
“We hope this collaboration will lead to greater efficiency as we continue to enforce our policies to help curb the pressing global issue of terrorist content online,” said the companies in a statement.
The tech companies have already adopted similar technology to tackle child sexual abuse imagery. They are required by law to remove content identified by law enforcement that breaks the law.
The strength of PhotoDNA comes from the single central database, he said. “If it’s removed from one site, it’s removed everywhere. That’s incredibly powerful. It’s less powerful if it gets removed from Facebook and not from Twitter and YouTube.
Technology companies have been under pressure from governments around the world over the spread of extremist propaganda online from terror networks such as ISIS.
In January, top White House officials met with representatives from Apple, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft to explore ways to tackle terrorism.
And in January and February of 2016, Pope Francis met with several tech CEOs in brief private meetings to discuss ways of controlling technology for the “common good.”
Bringing technology businesses into line with the new world order in the name of fighting terrorism by eliminating extremist content is a prelude to eliminating other content falsely labeled as extremist such as Bible-based, Sabbath-keeping religious groups. Developing the ability to limit their movements and the way they communicate their message is crucial to preventing truth from reaching the masses.

I can see total government control of the internet occurring sometime in the near future. We have only a short time left to use it for spreading the message. Likewise our television channels have a limited time also. This suggests that Ellen Whites visions of us going door to door are literal rather than symbolic
