South Carolina took the brunt of the storm from October 1-3 that dumped huge quantities of rain on the state. But other east coast U.S. states were affected as well. The focus of the storm’s damage was on Columbia and Charleston, where historic torrential rains dumped up to 2 feet (24+ inches) of water in some places. At least seven weather-related deaths have been blamed on the storm as motorists and residents were stranded in their cars and flooded homes.
Rescue workers had 750 calls in a 12-hour period before dawn on Sunday, keeping rescuers extremely busy. And hundreds of road closures around the affected states. Nighttime curfews were imposed on residents to prevent looting. Many residents were without drinking water and were being advised to boil any water from the tap before drinking.
The National Weather Service in Charleston said the amount of rain, which was forecast to continue through Monday, was “mind-boggling.” Mount Pleasant, a suburb of Charleston suffered 24+ inches of rain on Saturday, a record, and Columbia, the State’s capital had more than 10 inches, another record.
South Carolina’s Governor, Nikki Haley said that first responders were battling flooding and rains that can be expected once in 1,000 years. Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski said that this weather was the worst since Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
Haley called out 600 National Guard personnel to help with the rescue effort.
Much of the U.S. East Coast has been saturated by rains since Thursday. Power lines were down and 50,000 residents were without power. Catastrophic flash flooding and possible landslides and mudslides in higher elevations of South Carolina and Georgia are an ongoing concern. Three Virginia counties were also under flash flood warnings.
The weather service blamed a low-pressure system that has stalled over the state of South Carolina as the reason for the state taking the brunt of the storm. Hurricane Joaquin, which did not make landfall, contributed wind and rain to the South Carolina storm as well. Downtown Columbia and Richland County were most affected by the storm.
“Satan works through the elements also to garner his harvest of unprepared souls. He has studied the secrets of the laboratories of nature, and he uses all his power to control the elements as far as God allows.” The Great Controversy, page 589
“Men in responsible positions will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but from the sacred desk will urge upon the people the observance of the first day of the week, pleading tradition and custom in behalf of this man-made institution. They will point to calamities on land and sea — to the storms of wind, the floods, the earthquakes, the destruction by fire — as judgments indicating God’s displeasure because Sunday is not sacredly observed. These calamities will increase more and more, one disaster will follow close upon the heels of another; and those who make void the law of God will point to the few who are keeping the Sabbath of the fourth commandment as the ones who are bringing wrath upon the world. This falsehood is Satan’s device that he may ensnare the unwary.” The Southern Watchman, June 28, 1904

Thursday October 8th, 2015 at 11:00 AMWhile the statement “Satan works through the elements also to garner his harvest of unprepared souls. He has studied the secrets of the laboratories of nature, and he uses all his power to control the elements as far as God allows.” The Great Controversy, page 589 ” is true, what no one is willing to address is that this storm was created by geoengineers doing satan’s work keeping us all confused. Why are elected officials and “experts” always making statements that can’t be verified “storm that happens every 1000 year”, “Mind boggling”– Let’s put some light to this massive confusion…http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/engineering-1000-year-weather-catastrophes-the-reality-of-weather-warfare/
