“The Big Bang, which today we hold to be the origin of the world, does not contradict the intervention of the divine creator but, rather, requires it.” Pope Francis, during a speech at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, October 2014.

Monday September 14th, 2015 at 08:11 AMWhat is this “we hold” is the origin of the world? I want to make it very clear that the pope is not speaking for “me” and I am not part of the “we”!! GOD…creator of all things, heaven and earth and everything in between. That is what “I hold” is the origin of the UNIVERSE.

Monday September 14th, 2015 at 04:40 PM“We” refers to the “papal we” meaning the pope and the church. The pope never refers to himself as “I,” only “we.”

Monday September 14th, 2015 at 09:52 PMI understand what the “we” was referring to. I just wanted to make my point that the Roman Catholic Church – papacy is not in line with my biblical belief. I also believe that I am not alone in my beliefs and I would hope more people would take the time to comment on this and other things stated by the pope that are quite ridiculous in many ways.
