U.S. President Barack Obama is using executive orders to promote homosexual and transgender rights. After years of pressure, President Obama has agreed to take executive action to ban federal contractors from discriminating against employees because of their sexual orientation or their gender identity. He also said he would sign an executive order banning discrimination against transgender federal employees. While he cannot impose these rules on all American businesses, the order would affect about 14 million people. The president hopes that Congress will pass broader legislation that would apply to nearly all employers, but it has languished in the House of Representatives.
Gay rights advocates praised the decision. Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch called on the White House to include religious exemptions for churches and other houses of worship and religiously affiliated organizations.
“If Congress won’t act, I will. I have directed my staff to prepare an executive order for my signature that prohibits discrimination by federal contractors on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity,” Obama said at a gay pride celebration at the White House, an annual event that the president has hosted every year since taking office.
In 1998 President Bill Clinton signed an executive order banning discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in the federal civilian workforce, but it did not include gender identity. Earlier Obama also announced executive actions he will take on immigration reform, among other things.
Significantly, the U.S. House of Representatives is being used to hold back the tide of moral corruption that has swept over America in recent years. President Obama “lamented the fact that he is compelled to [sign executive orders] thanks to entrenched House Republicans.”
“I don’t prefer taking administrative action,” the President said, “I’d rather see permanent fixes to the issues we face.”
“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot… Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” Luke 17:28, 30

Monday July 28th, 2014 at 05:45 PMOK I know homosexuality is a sin…but I got to disagree with you on this one. You really believe that for profit companies that get federal contract should have the right to discriminate against homosexuals in hiring/firing? Don’t homosexuals pay taxes also? They same taxes that heterosexuals pay? Do companies/corporation have the right to hire/fire people because they committed adultery in their private life? What about worshiping a graven image? Wat if that corporation or companies wasn’t Christian in their beliefs. There are law against sexual harassment but nor evidence show that homosexuals act any differently than anyone else on the job. This kind of “gays are the cause of everything bad in the world attitude” is not very Christian. Most companies have no problem accepting gays mony…When gays shop at Wal Mart or Hobby Lobby do they turn them away because they are gay. Again gays pay taxes like everyone else..Unless you are prepared to exempt gays from paying taxes President Obama did the right thing. It’s not promoting a homosexuals agenda…It acknowledging there are homosexuals in our society and in the world and they shouldn’t be discriminated from the workplace because of it…You are simply wrong in this case….

Monday July 28th, 2014 at 07:14 PMOur argument isn’t so much whether or not President Obama did the right thing or the wrong thing. We track the changing culture from a prophetic point of view. In doing so, we document the legal establishment of the homosexual lifestyle as a viable alternative to the biblical lifestyle. It was Jesus who said that “likewise also as it was in the days of Lot… So also shall it be in the day when the son of man is revealed.”
From a secular point of view, becomes the central issue. But from a prophetic point of view, which is our point of view, equality of sexual orientation is not the issue, it is the fulfillment of prophecy.
As an aside, separately from our prophetic briefing, no matter how you look at it, and particularly from a secular point of view and a homosexual point of view, President Obama, in his capacity as president, has been promoting the homosexual lifestyle right, left and center, particularly the establishment of it in the annals of legality and culture. To say that it is only a matter of equality in terms of his actions is simply not true. Homosexuals love it, and have supported him greatly.
