The Pope and U.S. Democrats

Thursday January 22nd, 2015
Print This Post Print This Post

President Obama is increasingly allied with the Vatican on controversial policies. Pope Francis stands virtually shoulder-to-shoulder with the White House on a number of issues including income inequality and climate change.

The White House and the Papacy secretly collaborated to orchestrate the historic diplomatic change between the U.S. and Cuba. Siding with Pope Francis offers the President and U.S. Democrats clear benefits in the near term because Francis is one of the most respected leaders on the planet.

The pope has become the democrat’s biggest allies on income inequality. The pope’s remarks against “trickle-down economics” in 2014 appeared to embrace Democratic policies of wealth redistribution. “Those of us in America should pay heed” to the pontiff’s words, said Sen. Richard J. Durbin of Illinois after Francis’ comments on income inequality.

But philandering with the pope also has a downside and may exact a large political price. In the future, the pope may well focus on points of disagreement such as abortion and religious liberty to pressure democrats to further align with the Papacy in order to keep American Catholics in the democratic camp. But that could, in fact, create headaches with liberal Catholics in politics and a deeper rift with the Democratic Party. In other words, collaborating with Rome now will likely put a lot of pressure on the Democrats later unless the party recalibrates its center of gravity away from those issues that the church sees as grave and serious moral error.

The Catholic Church has carefully crafted a working relationship with the Democratic Party in spite of the chasm between them on moral issues in the past couple of years since the beginning of the Francis pontificate. Now in 2015, the pontiff appears to be poised to provide support to the White House on other initiatives. Francis plans to call for greater action on climate change in September at the UN climate summit where he will be one of the most prominent voices. He also plans to publish a letter to the bishops urging greater action on climate change. These two actions will again place him alongside Mr. Obama on a controversial issue.

As usual, the pope will speak in broad terms, not naming specific programs, but his language will essentially sanction the President’s plans without outright endorsing them.

As significant as this article is, it is most definitely the Republicans who are leading the country back to Rome. They are the “religious” body crying for moral purity – and favoring the Papacy.

To mention the Democrats without mentioning the clear connection and push of the Republicans is irresponsible and bias.

It is very true that republicans strongly gravitate towards the pope, which is not denied in this article. That goes beyond the scope of this short article, however, which only deals with Rome’s affaire with the democratic party.

Even if the republicans never win an election ever again, Revelation 13 will still come to pass completely. Even if the whole republican party consisted of the most consecrated sda’s who lend absolutely no power or cooperation to Rome revelation 13 will still come to pass.

When it comes to preventing sunday laws, it doesn’t matter which party you vote, because both parties are perfectly capable of yielding to the public demand to ensure their popularity and sustained rule. What we need to do is teach the people so that they won’t be among those asking for a sunday law.

The US Congress is only about 1/3 Roman Catholic. One would have to be able to document that the Vatican approves presidential candidates before making a clear statement. However, having said that, I don’t think anyone would deny that Presidents are not chosen entirely by the people. Maybe the Vatican is involved in candidate selection more than what appears on the surface. But it is hard to prove that they have full controlling influence. They certainly groomed the current president (documented by their own testimony, which we have reported in the past from RC sources). What is obvious is that the Vatican has a major role to play in US politics on an ongoing basis no matter whether a democrat or a republican is in the White House. The USCCB is very involved with both republicans and democrats. Both sides are engaged with Rome in different ways. But as a reminder this is not about partisan politics. It is about prophecy. When a republican is in the presidential palace, we’ll be reporting on his/her collaboration with Rome, just like with did with G. W. Bush. -Pr. Mayer

But let us be fully aware, that in order to become the presidenct of the US, one must be a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), which is a somewhat secret, society or branch of the Jesuit order, thus Vatican controlled..
Not too many people are aware of this club that they have set up for this very purpose. Look it up and see the list of its members. This is Not a US government office, but they have tremendous power in US politics.

President Obama is not listed on the roster of members on the Council of Foreign Relations website. Do you have documentation that a president must be a member of the CFR in order to become president? Also, do you have documentation that the CFR is a “branch of the Jesuit order?” Many things may be true, but difficult to document. One has to be careful to document claims to establish and maintain credibility. We are interested in documenting these statements. Please advise. -Pr. Mayer
