“Over a century ago, the United States of America went through a divisive and bloody Civil War that separated the people of this nation bone from marrow.”
While that war was fought over slavery, there were many other issues involved. One of them was just how far the federal government could go in making laws for all the states.
Feelings festered so long and ran so deep that men whose fathers had stood shoulder to shoulder in the war for independence faced off across fields of battle and killed each other. Over six hundred thousand Americans lost their lives in a senseless war that would set the Southern states back a half century.
Fair minded, level-headed men on both sides could have avoided the issue perhaps, but the rhetoric grew ever hotter. Brash young men on both sides, who had never fired a gun in anger, viewed a war as the pinnacle of romanticism, and implacable politicians refused to give an inch.
Do we not see this same attitude on the streets of America today? We see young people interviewed on television who can’t even articulate the reason they are protesting. Others bent on destruction, who probably espouses no cause but chaos. Hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protect them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no First Amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs.
The rhetoric is becoming hotter and more nonsensical, the radical element more apparent, the violence and destruction of property more common place. The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time before there will be blood on the streets.
While Americans have the right to civil disobedience, a right to gather and demonstrate against some policy they feel is unfair or harmful, but they do not have the right to interrupt commerce, break windows, burn cars or do bodily harm to those who disagree with them.
People who won’t listen to reason, who ignore the law of the land and who try to stifle the opinions of others tend to forget that there is an element of violence on the other side as well, a side that, thankfully, so far has not yet come forth. But, should these conditions continue, someday soon the violent elements of both persuasions will find themselves on the same streets, and what will ensue will not be pretty.
History repeats itself. Is America headed for civil war?

First CNS is a suspect source at best because again this conservative site peddled Obama is a secret Muslim and illegals voting in the millions for years which is simply false. I get this is an opinion piece but the writer is incorrect when he says people do not have the right to interrupt commerce. The interruption of commerce was instrumental in breaking Jim Crow Laws and discrimination laws in the 1960’s. There has not been wide spread bodily assaults nor has their been widespread destruction of property since the questionable election of Trump. I wonder what this guy was saying about the bodily assaults going on at the Trump rallies by Trump supporters and the shouting down and racist comments and even the encouraging of violence by candidate Trump against anyone who disagreed with him. If this guy is so worried about bloodshed in the street he only has to look at the person in the WH…His Russian/communist backed President and his administration to blame.

The polarization of America over so many issues is leading to some sort of civil war with blood in the streets. And that’s the prophetic point. Both sides are involved in fostering extreme reactions. As you know, this is not about politics, its about prophecy. How we get there, at least in regard to this, is by the way the enemy cultivates the political sides of the issue. One reaction leads to another, equal and opposite reaction.

There is no “getting through” to more and more people today. And worse, we have a President and Staff that believe that this “civil war” is good and must happen. see Steve Bannon’s express view on this subject.
The war will “cleanse” America from minorities and other people’s that don’t agree with “White Nationalism”. see Breitbart News
Until recently, I did not see the connection between the repudiation of our Constitution, the destruction of civility, and oppression of the poorer classes, etc. But now it is clear, it is all “protected” by and for White Supremacy under its new names and terms, Nationalism, America First, etc.
Under the guidance of our common enemy, Liberals played their part by legalizing Sodomy, now in response, it is the conservatives time, under the guidance of the same enemy, to legalized morality. This is no coincidence, Satan is still very desirous of worship and this is his last chance.
