Evangelist James Robison believes that God is speaking through the hurricanes and that Christians should pray and seek God’s will. The crises that Americans have faced and are facing will only be resolved if we come together “like a family,” he said. Robison, 73, is the co-founder of LIFE Outreach International and host of LIFE Today, and has advised government leaders since 1980.
“When you look at the aftermath of Harvey, which could prove to be one of the most disastrous natural disasters in American history,” Robison said of how God was speaking through the storm, “when you look at the love, compassion, courage, personal sacrifice, and dedication, you’re actually seeing an undeniable demonstration of what it looks like to love your neighbor, with a Good Samaritan love… You’re seeing the American family function like a healthy family.”
He noted that Irma, a category 5 hurricane that has enormous destructive power, could well be the most devastating storm ever in terms of wind velocity. Irma’s winds have reportedly reached speeds of 185 miles per hour.
Blaming the mass media for stirring up hate, especially toward President Trump, Robison asked, “When are the American people going say ‘Enough is enough’” and come together to reason like a family… I believe that [Trump] could walk on water, raise the dead, heal the blind, heal the sick, perform miracle after miracle, and he would still be hated by today’s liberal media. He would be accused, if we have 150 million people praising him for what he did because it was positive, the media would find two people to criticize him and that would be headlines.”
Robison reiterated that the only way we are going survive the devastation (of the hurricanes) is by coming together. Robison also spoke of the potentially devastating disaster “if North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has his way and launches a thermonuclear attack on America or its allies, “nothing these hurricanes have unleashed on us will compare with the devastation and the horror of what happens,” Robison said. If that occurs, “we will have to be one another’s neighbor again in the midst of that crisis to try and climb out from under the ashes,” he said.
“I’m telling you that God wants to give us His wisdom, His guidance, His direction [regarding] how to deal with this enemy.” He implored Christians to pray. “We could pray that he would have a miracle transformation,” he added.
“But many times, the government, the one in authority, has to bear the sword, to punish evildoers, and to deal with it.” Lives will undoubtedly will be lost, he said, but what we must have in order to guard our freedom, safety, families, and future, “is the divine direction that God freely offers… And we have never needed it more.”
Divine Direction? Would that include guidance toward worship laws, which would be in direct conflict with the Law of God? Evangelicals think in terms of getting America right with God. Robison is a popular evangelical Pentecostal preacher and is very influential. He visited the pope at the invitation of Tony Palmer. How easy would it be for this kind of talk to go to the next level and call for the nation to require everyone to be in church on Sundays? And whom will they ultimately blame for the crises?
“Men in responsible positions will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but from the sacred desk, will urge upon the people the observance of the first day of the week, pleading tradition and custom in behalf of this man-made institution. They will point to calamities on land and sea—to the storms of wind, the floods, the earthquakes, the destruction by fire—as judgments indicating God’s displeasure because Sunday is not sacredly observed. These calamities will increase more and more, one disaster will follow close upon the heels of another; and those who make void the law of God will point to the few who are keeping the Sabbath of the fourth commandment as the ones who are bringing wrath upon the world. This falsehood is Satan’s device that he may ensnare the unwary.” The Signs of the Times, January 17, 1884

Friday September 8th, 2017 at 01:00 PMThese evangelicals are killing me! I mean if they want to play that game couldn’t the Hurricanes be God’s warning or punishment to America for putting Trump in the White House? After all he’s about as illegitimate, corrupt, unfit and unqualified of an individual to ever step foot in the White House in any capacity. Could it be God’s punishment because of the daily lies Trump tells to the American people and how he plays with the Bible and religion? remember the 2 Corinthians? So yeah if that’s the game they want to play ……LOL
These people are purely out for power and they see Trump, who is a useful idiot to them, as a means to accomplish their goals of forcing their brand of Christianity into law on the country and the world.

Saturday September 9th, 2017 at 12:12 PMGreetings Craig, I can’t agree with you more. But it was just as hard for evangelicals to conceive of Hillary in the WH. The enemy has set this up. An extreme left, now has the extreme right reaction. Pushing the nation to the extremes has been his MO for a long time. Neither side will get it right. But it’s true that Mr. Trump plays the part of a buffoon. Yet, the evangelicals are shaping his mind on things in such a way as to give them more power. Very interesting to watch. Strong feelings about Mr. Trump should give way to strong feelings about the real enemy. The crucible is near. Blessings, Pr. Mayer

Saturday September 9th, 2017 at 03:18 PMPr. Mayer, how can you speak in such a manner? You call a duly elected President of the United States a “buffoon”? Are these words uttered from the lips of Christ or another? I never read of Jesus calling Herod or Judas a buffoon. You said you agree with Craig Swift’s comments. Craig who calls our President Trump “illegitimate…an idiot, corrupt, a lier, a useful idiot” is praised by you with “greetings, Craig?” You are misguided here and it pains me to say this. I have often listened to your sermons here and on Amazingdiscoveries.tv and youtube, and never imagined you would act in such a fashion. I noticed after the 2016 Presidential election a shift in your portrayal of our President. You criticized the voters and insult the Presidency. How can I trust your words any longer? I am very insulted and disheartened at your position on this issue. You appear to be in the same camp as MSM, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, and the like “never-Trumpers.” You criticize the voters seeking relief and appropriate change from not abstaining from voting, yet you appear to have already taken a political side. What say you here? I once directed others to your website and to view your material. I will now do otherwise. I cannot judge you or your motivations. However, you have lost my confidence for now I am seeing your fruits. My contact information will be presented. I would gladly appreciate a call from you and a swift apology for your recent response to Mr. Swift. If you both are the type of Christians one should aspire to be, then the devil should have no fear that his agenda is threatened. Your speech betray you. You have chosen to slander, malign, and neglected to utter a blessing. Cursings and blessings coming out of the same mouth? “The mouth speaks speaks out of the abundance of what’s in your heart.” What say you here? Did God receive praise from you, was His name uplifted in your response? Is Trump not our Brother? Are we not our Brother’s keeper.” We know the story of Cain and Abel. Which one are you? I am saddened I have to ask this question.

Monday September 18th, 2017 at 12:56 PMAfter reading these comments it goes to show how sensitive people are to other people’s political expressions. Christians who turn on another because of their opinions about any politician, the President included, are falling into the quagmire of worldly compromise. Insults have flowed on this thread from self righteous individuals who believe that they are the only ones who can criticize. Deception is a subtle work, beware!

Friday September 22nd, 2017 at 01:46 AMRobison has only 1 agenda, to put his own idea, like Nimrod, in place of, or in front of GOD!
As long as he thinks it’s right, IT’S RIGHT! Even if he’s wrong, he’s Correct, in spite of any evidence proving him to B in error!
He is no different from Mr. Francis in the Vatican, or satan in Isaiah 14, shouting:
I will
I will
I will
I will n usurping the place of CHRIST
