News Net Media: The 2nd Annual Affirming Sunday, scheduled for June 4th, is a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusion and acceptance in Christian communities, through inclusive sermons, guest speakers, and community events, sponsored by nuFoundation, believr, and Launchpad Partners.
MINNEAPOLIS, May 15, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ – For the second year, Affirming Sunday, a Christian tradition celebrating the intersection of faith and LGBTQIA+ identities, will take place on June 4th. Sponsored by nuFoundation, believr, and Launchpad Partners, this nationwide initiative aims to foster a more inclusive, affirming, and accepting spiritual environment in churches across the country.
Held on the first Sunday of Pride Month, Affirming Sunday encourages churches to embrace both pride and faith by supporting and recognizing the experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals within their communities. This year, churches and church leaders are invited to participate in various activities that demonstrate solidarity and support, such as delivering inclusive sermons, inviting LGBTQIA+ guest speakers, organizing community outreach events, and offering education and resources on LGBTQIA+ issues.
“We’re excited to launch the second year of Affirming Sunday and continue expanding a network of affirming and inclusive Christian communities nationwide,” said Adam Evers, Co-Founder and Executive Director of NuFoundation. “Last year’s event had a clear positive impact, and we hope to see even more churches participate this year, showing their commitment to promoting inclusion, affirmation, and acceptance for LGBTQIA+ individuals.”
Affirming Sunday’s three sponsors and partners share a mission to empower the LGBTQIA+ community and advocate for equity, inclusion, and justice. NuFoundation is a non-profit organization that creates networks of inclusive, anti-racist, and justice-oriented communities, resources, and events. Believr is a faith-based LGBTQIA+ platform that offers a safe and affirming space for members to explore their faith and find meaningful connections. Launchpad Partners is a non-profit that develops diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and is dedicated to creating Jesus-following, antiracist, love- and justice-generating communities.
Churches and church leaders can participate in Affirming Sunday by delivering inclusive sermons, inviting LGBTQIA+ guest speakers, organizing community outreach events, and providing education and resources on LGBTQIA+ issues. Social media assets can be downloaded from the Affirming Sunday website, and churches are encouraged to use the hashtag #AffirmingSunday when sharing their support.
Our Comment:
Is the affirmation of Sunday preparing the way for Satan’s complete delusion of the masses?
Prophetic Link:
“In this age a more than common contempt is shown to God. Men have reached a point in insolence and disobedience which shows that their cup of iniquity is almost full…. The Spirit of God is being withdrawn from the earth. When the angel of mercy folds her wings and departs, Satan will do the evil deeds he has long wished to do. Storm and tempest, war and bloodshed—in these things he delights, and thus he gathers in his harvest. And so completely will men be deceived by him that they will declare that these calamities are the result of the desecration of the first day of the week. From the pulpits of the popular churches will be heard the statement that the world is being punished because Sunday is not honored as it should be….” That I May Know Him, page 355.2.

Saturday June 10th, 2023 at 12:11 AMI am 100% in favor of including people from all walks of life into the church (on Sabbath) including “Former” lbgtqia+÷ or whatever they believed themselves to be prior to coming to the church. There should never be a blending of the two, church and lbgtqia+÷, that’s not what Christianity is about. It’s about forgiveness and change. If a person wants to continue that lifestyle perhaps they should visit a Methodist or Catholic church, one that calls themselves Christian but lives and encourages a lifestyle that is not according to the Bible. I personally am not against any person. I am opposed to an ideology that condones a sinful lifestyle.

Sunday June 25th, 2023 at 12:46 PMI am a Bible -believing individual and i am not opposed to the Alphabet Community person visiting my church. The object of this visit would be for this individual to visit as a regular visitor who will listen to the words and take from it what is important to them, with the hope that they will go back home to search the scriptures and ask for god’s guidance for understanding. I cannot condone a sinful lifestyle.
