In early October, reports surfaced that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein allegedly sexually harassed or assaulted multiple women over decades. Weinstein was fired from the studio he co-founded after a wave of more than 80 women accused him of sexual harassment since the 1970s. Weinstein has denied all allegations that he engaged in non-consensual sex with women, and no criminal charges have been brought against him to date.
The public condemnation of Weinstein has seemingly emboldened others to come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against powerful celebrities, high-profile businessmen, politicians and others in what some have called the “Weinstein ripple effect.” And the list of accused men spans in a variety of industries and countries (keep in mind, some are alleged).
Boston Globe columnist Renée Graham wrote, “Literally and figuratively, toxic masculinity is killing us. Mass shootings. Domestic violence. Fatal fraternity hazing. Rape culture. Workplaces and schools turned into cesspools of sexual harassment and assault. This is not consigned to one race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic level. Feral masculinity affirms itself every day through violence and domination.”
If you take an honest look at what has been revealed so far, you can see that God knows what He is talking about, and that we ignore Him to our own peril. Western society has largely renounced God’s standards and laws. It mocks His morality and sneers at His definitions of right and wrong. God condemns, society embraces. Fornication, adultery, every form of perversion and abuse is now acceptable, except when it is exposed to public review. Perpetrators know it is very damaging, but try to minimize the harm, especially to themselves and their reputations, when they are exposed.
God says that sex is to be confined within marriage, but society scoffs. Jesus said even looking on a woman lustfully is committing adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). But pornography is all around us and is celebrated.
Then suddenly, we hypocritically don’t like some of the devastating effects of sexual immorality and perversion. The very things we pursued privately, we now condemn publically, as if social shaming and condemnation cures the guilt of collective permissiveness. All the “toxic masculinity” we are seeing is a result of pushing God’s instructions aside and doing what seems right in our own eyes. The inevitable and cumulative effects of all the immoral choices we have made is now coming back to haunt us with problems we cannot solve very easily.
For instance, society now views the roles God created for men and women with contempt. It has no idea what godly masculinity or femininity really is. And this is devastating the family, one of the enemy’s prime targets. Ignorance of God’s principles is prevalent. So, how do you fix that?
God created certain inclinations and ambitions within men in order to make them builders of families, communities and societies. Then He provided laws to help men direct those energies and ambitions toward truly productive ends. A man who follows that direction builds character and becomes a blessing to those around him. He will not be taking advantage of women, harassing them, or using his power to secure sexual favors. Instead he will be self-controlled, skilled at restraining his lusts, and faithful to his wife.
Men are forbidden to be predators. God expects them to be protectors and defenders of women. And He commands men to regard women with honor. On the flip side, He also commands modesty of women. He specifically says that women should dress and behave with modesty, so as not to misuse the undeniable power of their sexuality. But this sounds backward in our increasingly barbaric society, which has repudiated everything God has said. Society has been breaking God’s law with impunity, and now the results are gross, offensive and repugnant, even to godless people.
Christians are affected too. Christian women now wear sexually revealing clothing, and don’t even think twice about how it affects the men around them – the very men they expect to exhibit godly masculinity. The church has been leavened by the world in this area, and has correspondingly declined in its morality. Most Christians cannot see the connection between what they wear and how they act and the moral effect on the church because they are so blinded by worldly influence.
Those who understand Bible prophecy will recognize that God’s predictions of sexual immorality and licentiousness will prevail in the last days. It proves the Bible to be absolutely true, and a worthy guide to navigating the wickedness of the morally bankrupt world in which we live. It proves that God’s law is still in effect, and that breaking it leads to shame, disgrace and ruin. All one has to do is look at what happened to Sodom to know the consequences of this moral slide.
This pursuit of sexual justice is at the very same time when an army of amoral, anti-religious, anti-tradition individuals and institutions, are exploiting the moral cesspool to redefine, isolate and even eradicate biblical masculinity in the campaign to normalize transgenderism. In light of the great controversy, this coordinated attack on biblical norms is hardly a coincidence. One evil leads to more evil by those who have rejected God.
“Toxic masculinity” is sometimes referred to as “extreme masculinity.” But in reality, both terms are really referring to the biblical concept of what I call “carnal masculinity.
God’s description of the end times is precise. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts…” 2 Timothy 3:1-6

Monday November 20th, 2017 at 08:26 AMInspired article!
Men are being destroyed by women who have left their place as mothers and teachers and like the women of Baal-Peor are being worshiped through feminism.
Society is destroyed from the inside: no spirituality, no God. Destruction is sure to come!
A Revival and Reformation of true godliness are required to reverse this movement coming directly from the pit of hell.
May the Creator have mercy on us and lift up His army at this time.
Keep up the Faith!
