A spiritual awakening is underway at the White House among some of the most powerful people in America. Some members of the Trump cabinet gather weekly to study the Bible. This Trump Cabinet Bible Study is making history. They’ve been called the most evangelical Cabinet in history – men and women who don’t mince words when it comes to where they stand on God and the Bible.
Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries said, “These are godly individuals that God has risen to a position of prominence in our culture.” They’re all handpicked by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.
“I don’t think Donald Trump has figured out that he chained himself to the Apostle Paul,” Drollinger laughed. Drollinger is a former NBA-playing giant of a man with an even bigger calling. He’s started Bible studies in 40 state capitols, a number of foreign capitols, teaches weekly studies in the U.S. House and Senate and now leads about a dozen members of President Trump’s Cabinet in weekly studies of the scriptures.
A few of the regular members of the White House Bible Study are Health Secretary Tom Price, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agriculture Secretary Sunny Perdue, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, and America’s top cop, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, also attends the study. “It’s the best Bible study that I’ve ever taught in my life,” Drollinger said. “They are so teachable; they’re so noble; they’re so learned.”
It’s unprecedented. Drollinger doesn’t think a formal Bible study among executive Cabinet members has been done in at least 100 years.
“[Attorney General Jeff Sessions will] go out the same day I teach him something and I’ll see him do it on camera and I just think, ‘Wow, these guys are faithful, available and teachable and they’re at Bible study every week they’re in town,'” Drollinger said.
President Trump is invited to attend the Bible studies, too. Each week he receives a copy of Drollinger’s teaching. And Vice President Pence is also planning to join the study as his schedule permits. He also serves as a sponsor. In Pence, Drollinger sees many similarities to biblical figures like Joseph, Mordecai and Daniel – all men who rose to the number two position in governments at different times in history.
“Mike Pence has respect for the office. He dresses right – like it says Joseph cleaned himself up before he went to stand before the Pharaoh,” Drollinger said. “Mike Pence has uncompromising biblical tenacity and he has a loving tone about him that’s not just a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal,” he continued. “And then fourthly, he brings real value to the head of the nation.”
Like others, Drollinger often compares President Trump to biblical strongman Samson. “I just praise God for them,” he said. “And I praise God for Mike Pence, who I think with Donald Trump chose great people to lead our nation.”
Evangelical leaders are very enamored with the influence they have at the White House. They see a spiritual awakening and a revival of America’s political class taking place, and though sincere, they do not understand where this is headed. Remember, they have accepted an offer that Jesus rejected. The Devil said to Christ, “worship me, and I’ll give you all the kingdoms of the world.” Mr. Trump said to the evangelicals, vote for me, and I’ll give you more power over the United States.
Do you wonder where all this is headed? “Papists, Protestants, and the worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness without the power, and they will see in this union a grand movement for the conversion of the world and the ushering in of the long-expected millennium.” The Great Controversy, pages 588 and 589.
Many of them are sincere, but they do not understand the forces they are dealing with. And because political leaders appear to be godly, “great will be the indignation excited against all who refuse” to disobey the Bible and accept the teachings of those who will promote Sunday observance. See The Great Controversy, page 591.

Please pray for India and for Sijo and his ministry in India. Rising persecution is creating stress on the Hindu nation, especially for Christians. The government enacts repressive laws against Christianity. Persecution is especially difficult in the north where there are killings and torture of Christians, the spread of anti-Christian propaganda. India apparently intends to abolish Christianity in India by 2020.

Thursday August 3rd, 2017 at 02:10 PMHere are two articles which show that the Pope is against these people. He is not with them. He says they are literal about the Bible and that they speak of the apocalypse (Revelation) and that they are a danger to the Catholics beliefs of accepting Muslims and the like. The Pope hates these people because they are reading their Bibles.

Thursday August 3rd, 2017 at 06:44 PMPastor Mayer, You are doing a wonderful work to hold these Bible Studies at the White House, I was very happy to learn this, however, I would like to make one correction … The word ‘Papist’ … Was that meant for those who are Catholics? If so, Catholics are not known as Papist, they would be called one of these … Catholics, Roman Catholics and also are called Christians. Thank you and Peace,

Saturday August 5th, 2017 at 04:56 PMThings are lining up for Jesus soon return. Lord, please give us Your faith. We know faith comes by hearing and hearing through the Word of God. It isn’t enough to say we believe, even the devils believe and tremble. We must keep all the commandments of God by His Holy Spirit in us. At the center of His law is the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. God’s seal of His being the Creator of heaven, earth, the sea, and springs of water. Genesis 2: 1-3. Exodus 20: 11.

Saturday August 5th, 2017 at 06:56 PMDear Pastor Mayer
Very interesting, unfortunately I think our church makes a mistake by accepting the ACLU’s interpretation of the first amendment as having a wall of separation between church and state. Other than Thomas Jefferson, the writers of the constitution did not view the first amendment in that way. Benjamin Franklin, the first Senate majority leader, when calling the Senate to order for the first time said, “We know that God sets up king and take them down. Do we dare do our business without first praying to the Almighty?” It was at that time they started the practice of praying before doing the Senates business, which is still done today. When the president and every legislator are sworn into office they must put their hand on the Bible and swear to up hold the constitution. This is symbolic that the constitution was written on the bases of the Bible. If they believed in a wall, separating church and State, they never would have done this and many other things. I saw on the news that there is another group that is also very concerned about Donald Trumps cabinet having prayer meetings. That group in the atheist society.
How do we know they are not claiming the promise found in, 2-Chronicles 7:14? If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Sunday August 6th, 2017 at 06:07 PMMike, The ACLU has gone way to far, as have politics on every front. And the atheists are concerned for a completely different reason. The originalist view was that the church should not attempt to control the state (which is where this evangelical thing is headed, and which will lead to worship laws and persecution of dissenters as in colonial times and medieval times). It also meant that the state would not control the church (which is the way things were going under the Obama administration). It was not about prayer in Congress, or in schools, or public religious expression or clothing, or other aspects of the social intersection of religion and society. These things were all ok, and they still are. The problem is that the nation is now so polarized between secular and religion that most people cannot easily define the real intent of the founders. Blessings, Admin.
