El papa Francisco, quien se auto-denomina como un «dinosaurio» de la tecnología, se reunió con el director general de muchos años de Google, Eric Schmidt, durante una audiencia privada el 15 de enero. Aunque hay mucha especulación en torno a la reunión de 15 minutos en el Vaticano, no está claro de qué se trató. El Vaticano no discutirá el contenido de su reunión. Sin embargo, el ejecutivo de tecnología y el Papa tienen algunos intereses comunes. Schmidt creó una fundación familiar dedicada a la utilización sostenible de la energía y los recursos naturales, algo que resuena con el Papa.
Pero aunque el contenido secreto de la reunión sigue siendo un misterio, un informe de vídeo de la reunión por Rome Reports, mostró a Schmidt al final de la reunión, diciéndole al Papa Francisco: «Quiero trabajar con usted sobre estos puntos… Haremos que sea una realidad».
La audiencia con Schmidt, conocida como un «Google Hangout», término asignado por un bloguero popular, fue extraordinaria porque los pontífices raramente dan audiencias privadas a altos jefes de negocios, por cuanto no quieren aparecer como un respaldo a sus productos. Sin embargo, hay cuestiones obviamente más grandes que los dos hombres querían discutir. Tal vez el Papa tenía algunas peticiones para el CEO de Google.
Una semana más tarde, el Papa dio una audiencia privada a Tim Cook, el líder abiertamente homosexual de Apple, Inc. Una vez más, no hay información sobre lo que discutieron.
Obviamente, estos mercaderes de la tierra y el Vaticano están tramando algo. Tal vez a su debido tiempo, vamos a saberlo. Mientras tanto y sin duda alguna, ellos se beneficiarán al colaborar con el Papa en sus peticiones.

Yes there are many that are wondering after the beast. They will surely lose their step and fall. We all need to pray for the awakening of those that are deluded with lies and deception. We need to pray for the return of Jesus and we must not believe we have more worldly things to do before HIS return. Nothing is more important than the return of Christ Jesus. We have nothing else to do, but to PRAY!
