  Excellent perspective! As the world polarizes and truth seekers (Adventist or otherwise) continue to grasp for a side before realizing no earthly side has our interests at heart. It is a hard realization in a country where patriotism has become another god, and the party most closely aligned with a person’s political persuasion becomes his mouthpiece. Sans the spine of the scripture, we are literally taken in by every wind of doctrine, much of it calling evil good, and good, evil.

  pastor mayer- thanks for making this statement.when i started doing my own research,i in NOT in good conscience could vote for any political party,republican,democrat,independent etc. it does pay..to do your own research,as to be able to have an objection,to anything,one must be able to have proper information.i do agree,the news as i have said,you need to even do your research to find out what you are hearing is correct or incorrect ,or have an opinion.to rely on one news source,can sometimes be a dangerous thing.i dont say this to say i rely on one source,i DO NOT..as any news media today,unfortunately,tends to have their own slant to reporting.this makes sometimes difficult for those whom try to do the right thing.i do not make any excuses for anyone having any viewpoint.i consider myself VERY fortunate to know someone whom is a chip person that i personally think is a woman of GOD…,that had health issues when she came to the church,and then she had a better understanding of the health message,then share the information with others,of which , we both share information …in attempt to educate others.i have been educating a nurse whom works for one of my doctors…of which,she has become VERY interested in some of the things i have pointed out to her,things she had never thought about…just like i didnt…,and i had shared the information with a retired pastor of the church,of which , evidently,missed some of the health teachings,and didnt know a chip person as educated as the chip person i know.i feel blessed to know this person.i am sharing the health message as much as i can….,while i have my job ahead of me,i trust GOD he will help me bring out truth to others…as i do think the health message is very important,as some people i have met dont know,some dont care….,and i do think the health message is very very important…for others to understand….
  i recently invested with some other friends ,and we bought 6 cases of sda books that teach our teachings….in hope that we can still reach others out there…my petition before GOD…is that teaching some of the things i do know ..for sure…and things i can and must support.I wish to thank you for your ministry…

  Pastor Mayer,

  Taking a stand on issues based on Biblical principles inherently associates you with certain groups or political ideology. You will not be able to escape this.

  I love Ellen White and whole heartedly believe she was called by God to bring a message of warning and hope to the last day people. In some, very few, cases I believe she was writing by permission and not under inspiration (as we see Paul stated for himself at one point). In principle I agree with her statement regarding politics; However, in practice it is not an absolute. For example on the issue of alcohol abolition and slavery Ellen White herself allied with certain groups and leaders in support. Not because she was of one party or not, but because she recognized their mission to accomplish a moral victory for the common good.

  Isaiah warned those who called good evil, and evil good. Being silent on the wickedness and immorality of current times can be equated to the three faithful boys who could have silently bent down to tie their shoes when the music played:

  «Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
  Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness…» – Isa 5:20a

  But they didn’t. They made a statement by standing when the music played and they didn’t bow down. They called evil what it was, evil. Did they apologize for offending the king by aligning their principles with Daniel?

  There will be people not of our faith who will defend morality and righteousness. They may not represent everything we believe, but in areas that we agree the soap box can and should shared. I agree with you. The history of the 1930s is repeating itself now. Marxism is a philosophy that is pervasively affecting our young people and we are on the slippery slope now. The Democrat party is no longer bringing balance to the Republican party. To use a political metaphor, they are yanking society left of center hard. I appreciate you calling out the wrongs for what they are.

  We do need to be partisan. Partisan to God’s word. Sometimes that aligns us with party groups that may offend others. We will never please everyone when speaking truth. Thanks for your ministry.

  I do not blame you for speaking out about what was going on. In fact we need more people to speak out. We need a generation of people to speak out. The Hegelian dialectic that we observe is the struggle between the King of the North and the King of the South. Careful examination of Daniel 11 in conjunction with revelation 11 and 13 will give more clarity to this struggle. The king of the North and south is present even within the papacy as it is an ideology that was pushed forward by the jesuits. The south was propagated by the jesuits in the formation of the Freemasons which were used to attempt to violate bible prophecy in1797 by trying to attack Rome and failing. Right now the globalist agenda pushed by Pope Francis is king of the south philosophy. Archbishop Vigano represents the king of the North. What he stands for is the absolute rule of the papacy which is what we traditionally think of the papacy and the push to regain its former power. There is a quote in the great controversy that speaks of (I’m paraphrasing) when the Christian nations unite church and state the fall of Babylon will be complete. What is going to cause church and state to unite? The south pushing so far that the king of the North is going to come at the south like a whirlwind. We are about to see the North come at the south like a whirlwind. Christians have been downtrodden for so long and now they are being pushed to the verge of extinction. Christians are being tortured in western countries as we speak and some in the adventist church. The adventist church is God’s remnant people, however there are some tares among the wheat which God is moving to take out as we speak.

  This is a matter set to go for conference at the Supreme Court of the United States on April 16, 2021. It is of interest to SDA’s since apostate SDA’s are party to some of the criminal behaviour and this is on public record.
