sábado, 12 de setembro de 2020 at 16:01You (author) fail to recognize that the Japanese were repatriated for the wrongs done against them and they were no systemic barriers set up against them going forward. They were not forced to live in ghettos and given bad loans when they qualified for better, they were not systematically over policed and incarcerated. They were not hoarded into schools without proper resources due to the tax base of the communities they were forced to live in. They were in essence given the full ability to acculturation into the larger society without wage theft (still making .62 cents on each dollar others make) and thier wealth repeatedly stolen through thier art, historical sites, burned out neighbors (i.e., Black Wallstreet that was in news recently due to a certain rally). These things neither perpetuatally happened to the Japanese or the other model minority groups you may have in mind. So be inclusive in your retelling of history and if you don’t know it, learn it before you post bias arguments of “facts” without factors.
