quarta, 11 de março de 2015 at 08:38The study cited here does not at all prove causation, yet leaps to headline-grabbing conclusions. As a recent Slate article (http://slate.me/10yvm5I) aptly explains this new paper leaps to unsubstantiated conclusions, and the coverage of this study has been overwhelmingly misleading. In sum, the body of science proves soda is safe, and this research fails to prove otherwise or to establish its inaccurate claim regarding soft drink consumption and accelerated aging. In other words, there is no cause for concern.

The articles cited only said there “may” or “might” be an association. Even the American Heart Association recognizes an association and makes a recommendation of only a small amount of these “empty” calories per week. Pr. Mayer
