Fertile ground for hypocrisy.” This statement is “fiction” in a lot of ways. It says the Bible is problematic but the problem is not with the Book. The problem is with people who pick out verses to believe and discard the ones they don’t like. So is the Bible wrong because people misuse it? Or is the problem with the people. The Bible is Gods Word to humanity. Nothing is to be discarded or changed. What need to change is every human heart and the Bible is a means to that end.
