sábado, 13 de agosto de 2022 at 00:52I believe politics are neccessary. I don’t understand them though. I do understand the concept or left and right political ideas. Democrat vs Republican, liberal vs conservative. As a young man I tended toward liberal thinking. Today at 67 years young, and since becoming a Christian, my beliefs are more conservative. Actually I agree with some of both liberal and conservative views. For example I believe eveyone should have access to good medical care and it should be paid for, equitably, by people who have been blessed with an income. On the conservative side, I believe abortion, for the purpose of birth control, is murder and should be illegal. To me government should be lead by common sense. The Constitution is a great document and should upheld in its entirety. The problem in the US is division and hate. Tools of the devil. Left and right, liberal and conservative, Democrat and Republican, BLM and Proud boys. The list goes on. Under the leadership of Jesus Christ we will be united. Unfortunately, before that happens, we will have trouble. “Wars and rumors of wars. Nation rising against nation”, etc. Our only hope now is to “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and render unto God the things that are God’s “. No political party can save the world from ultimate destruction. Our only hope lies in a relationship with Jesus.
