I myself, prior to becoming a Christian, have paid for an abortion, my own child. When you are lead by the Spirit, it’s like you know this practice is wrong. Now it breaks my heart to see how this procedure is used, especially in America and the west. It is essentially used as a form of birth control, a backup plan for those who practice sex outside of a committed marriage. Most liberals are in favor, most conservatives are opposed to it. I do believe there are times and situations where it may be indicated. Severe birth defects and risk of harm/death to the mother are possible scenarios where it might be used. Not for birth control. Our churches should unite against this practice, in my opinion. Jesus is coming soon. We need to share His truth with all who will listen, while there’s still time.
