Casas de Adventistas del Séptimo Día Destruidas en Chiapas

Chiapas, en México es conocido por su violencia religiosa contra los no católicos. Ahora, tres casas de personas adventistas del Séptimo Día fueron destruidas en San Miguel Chiptip el 16 de marzo, supuestamente porque estas familias no participarían en la celebración de la Semana Santa. Cerca de 50 católicos romanos, según las fuentes de noticias, destruyeron las casas hechas de bloques y madera.

Por la violencia las familias adventistas huyeron de sus hogares por temor de sus vidas, dejando atrás sus pertenencias de valor y llevándose consigo solo lo que necesitaban para sobrevivir. Habían recibido amenazas de muerte en las horas previas.

Las familias tuvieron que buscar refugio y esconderse con algunos familiares y amigos, ya que los católicos les advirtieron que si volvían a sus hogares, hombres, mujeres y niños serían castigados severamente.

“Y también todos los que quieren vivir piadosamente en Cristo Jesús padecerán persecución;” 2ª Timoteo 3:12.

    How can people call themselves Christians when they force other Christians to worship according to their beliefs? Christ never forced anyone to worship Him.

  • For those looking up the location, it’s Chiptic, not Chiptip. You can find it on Google Maps – a very remote location deep in the jungle near the Lacandón region.
