sexta, 16 de novembro de 2018 at 07:32This article overlooks the fact that there has been actual left-wing attempts at assassination of GOP elected officials, not just threats of killing. It overlooks the fact that Hillary Clinton stated that there will be no attempts at left-wing civility unless Gop officials in Congress and the White House accede to Democrat demands.
Most of all, the article overlooks the fact that the Democrat Party has run on and intends – post election – to fully pursue a total ban on the ownership of all semiauto rifles, pistols, gun kits, and gun parts. And that’s just at the federal level. State initiatives in Democrat-dominated states promise more of the same, but also infringements on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 9th Amendment rights of gun owners starting with surveillance of gun owners’ social media accounts.
Such a breathtaking overreach against the rights of LAW-ABIDING gun owners, after years of ongoing harassment and infringements of their rights, has angered most of them to the point where there is open talk of the necessity of taking up arms against the government AND LIBERALS IN PARTICULAR.
I personally routinely read gun owner websites, user groups, and social media. Therefore I believe I can speak with authority to the gun-owner issue. They are mostly conservative, and they are sick and tired of the treatment they receive at the hands of the antigun Left. Honestly I am quite amazed at their restraint over the last 25 years.

Your points are well taken, and are certainly largely true William. Our point is that the discussion about an imminent civil war, irrespective of its political orientation, is prophetically linked to the inspired statements, regardless of who starts it, or who is behind it. quinta, 22 de novembro de 2018 at 19:55Yes, the general tenor of the gun community is “You want our guns? Come and git ‘em.” There are a number of folks that are considering they have nothing left to lose and that number is growing.
