sexta, 15 de junho de 2018 at 11:16Sister White tells us in the Great Controversy pg-266 that; “The war against the Bible, carried forward for so many centuries in France, culminated in the scenes of the French Revolution.” The voice of God was silenced and only the secular voice was herd. Isn’t that the ultimate end of the doctrine of separation of Church and State? A doctrine that is not written in the constitution. So, the question becomes what role should religion play in a free society? Most people now days would say none, but is this what the founders had in mind? Is that what God wants?
The founders believed are rights come from God and the purpose of government was to protect those rights. “All men are created equal and endowed by their creator with the enable rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” It is the secularist that want to change it to say that are rights come from government. The more they take God’s voice out of society the quicker that will happen. Alexander Hamilton warned us when speaking about the French Revolution that, “The anti-religious forces it unleashed annihilates the foundations of social order and true liberty. Confounds all moral distinctions and substitutes for the mild and beneficent religion of the gospel, a gloomy persecuting and desolating atheism.”
Isn’t that what it will be like in the last days?
