sábado, 18 de março de 2023 at 01:06Two things, one will be more favorable than the other. 1) This lawlwssness cannot be tolerated. They say they will prosecute these people “to the fullest extent of the law”. Unfortunately these days the fullest extent of the law is a slap on the wrist and return to the community. D.A.s and judges are soft on crime. They need to throw the book at not just these but all criminals. 2) and probably least popular is that this “training” facility needs to train police officers in how to diffuse a situation and not just go in with guns blazing. Police need to be firm and decisive yet aware and sensitive to each situation and deal with everyone fairly and have integrity. I understand their job is maybe one of the most difficult jobs anyone can have so it takes a special person, not just any guy off the street, and requires adequate training and supervision and a personality suited for the job. If a person doesn’t measure up, they should be releaved of duty. Many police today are indistinguishable from the criminals they pursue except for a badge and uniform. I don’t suspect either of these issues to change for the better until Jesus returns.
