I believe I see your bias. You would rather see acceptance of non-biblical sexual morality as normal in our culture with all of it’s paganism practices then face the possibility of voting from a moral, scriptural perspective. We would at least be on scriptural ground regardless as to how it is used.
There is no right way here for a SDA. It really bothers me to listen to so many of our minister’s lean emotionally to the left. Why do you think the Republicans are getting stronger politically? It is the far left agenda of Obama’s presidency and the Democratic Party that publicly in there convention voted to take God out of there platform. It remained only by an inappropriate parliamentary procedure.
Do you really think those of us that “bitterly” cling to our bibles and guns are deplorables?

You completely misunderstand us. We are not politically biased at all. We are no more happy with the left than the evangelicals. Our bias is prophetic. We link the current events with the prophetic issues. Has nothing to do with politics, left or right. I have people on the left telling me the same thing about our articles from sources on the right. Our issue has everything to do with Prophecy. Think more deeply. The enemy sent us the left, so that conservatives would be so anxious and determined to bring it back to the right, that they will take it too far to the right. Then what are you going to say when they press for Sunday laws, just as prophecy has declared they would. Its the old hegelian dialectic in play here. When left and right get to reacting to each other, which has been the aim of the enemy all along, he can get them to do things that they would never have done under more bi-lateral cooperation. Your response is just what I said. My concern is voiced in your reply. It sounds like we are attempting to help prevent prophecy’s out come by accepting a lesser of two evil’s, i e, don’t vote for the right because they will bring in the Sunday Law’s (which are already on the books), and accept or tolerate the pre atedeluvian culture and the freedom of the French Revolution.
I would rather vote against the evil’s of the culture and have faith in God’s promises of His protection by remaining true to His will. Can He, will He protect us if we condone the practices on the left just to prevent our going through the final phase of His prophecies.
In P &P, the chapter on the flood is insightful as is pages 120-122 in Thoughts From Mount Of Blessings.
I think we may be saying the same thing, yet I am concerned the way it struck me, therefore, others will understand that they should avoid at all costs, the GOP because they will bring the Sunday Law upon us and all the time we accept the “sins” of the left in order to prevent the other sin. Where will that leave us in the day of judgement?
I will vote my conscience, and let our Lord handle the rest.

We do not condone the sins of either side (or any side). We simply report on the fulfillments of bible prophecy. The enemy pushes so hard in one direction that the reaction looks like a savior. But in the end it is part of the hegelian dialectic which is so prevalent today in politics. Keep in mind that the Jesuits have a considerable amount of influence on both sides. Neither side is clean. Also note the wise counsel in FE 475… Admin
