Los conservadores activos espiritualmente y comprometidos con el gobierno (conservadores SAGE) creen que aparte de las uniones (las cuales tuvieron la mayor influencia), los pastores conservadores influyeron en la elección de Donald Trump, de acuerdo a una encuesta dirigida por el Grupo George Barna. Hubo ocho entidades no relacionadas con los medios que fueron evaluadas. Entre ellas se eligieron aquellas tres que tuvieron mayor impacto: “el presidente Obama (25% señalaron que tuvo un alto impacto), guías para votantes (24%) y organizaciones cristianas sin fines de lucro (23%). A estos le siguieron las iglesias protestantes y pastores (20% señalaron que tuvo un alto impacto); encuestas de opinión pública (15%); celebridades que apoyaron al candidato (14%); e iglesias católicas y sacerdotes (12%).
Al combinar los dos factores que asignan la calificación más alta, las guías de votantes alcanzaron la cima y quedaron como la más importante influencia en las elecciones (según la impresión del 79% de los conservadores SAGE), las uniones laborales pasaron al número dos, junto con las organizaciones cristianas sin ánimo de lucro con (76%). Y finalmente, las iglesias protestantes y los pastores (74%). En otras palabras, el 74% de los encuestados afirman creer que las iglesias protestantes y los pastores influyeron en gran manera en el momento de tomar la decisión.
Los pastores teológicamente conservadores tienen una visión un poco diferente. Aparentemente ellos creen que tuvieron mucho que ver en los resultados políticos. Esto puede animarles a tratar de influir aún más. ¿Podrían llegar a tratar de influenciar más allá de las elecciones? Cuando los líderes de las iglesias se unan con los líderes del estado para conseguir sus mutuos objetivos, el resultado será la opresión religiosa.

Se insistirá en que no se debe tolerar a los pocos que se oponen a una institución de la iglesia y a la ley del país… El romanismo en el Viejo Mundo y el protestantismo apóstata en el Nuevo, seguirán una conducta similar hacia los que honran los preceptos divinos”. God ALLOWS evil to temporarily triumph, to show the Universe that He does not compel the conscience, but rather hopes that WE choose to make the right decision(s); without any government FORCING us.
Certain people, so called Christians and Christian Leaders cannot resist the Satanic charms of this new White House Administration. So they say, God must have done this, what blasphemy!
God NEVER wishes that evil take control of society, but He has always allowed it until His «cup of iniquity» is full. Then He judges as his Divine Sovereignty sees fit.

Desire of Ages page 733 shows that the RELIGIOUS LEADERS influenced the people to choose Barabbas. The pen of inspiration claims Barabbas was a hardened and desperate villain who excited sedition against the Roman government. Sounds exactly like our President to me.
I know these Christians are deceived by their unfaithful Pastors, see GC 655, 656: «The multitudes are filled with fury. “We are lost!” they cry, “and you are the cause of our ruin”; and they turn upon the false shepherds. The very ones that once admired them most, will pronounce the most dreadful curses upon them. The very hands that once crowned them with laurels, will be raised for their destruction.»
By viewing character the way God views it, It is evident that every «mean and hateful bird» is filling our society – also seen in the new W House nominees and cabinet picks.
