A fin de lograr una igualdad con todos los demás actos sexuales legales, el gobierno de Queensland ha reducido la edad legal en la que una persona puede practicar sexo anal. Esto pone fin a la llamada legislación «arcaica» que estaba en contra de los homosexuales. Incluso el término «sodomía» será eliminado de la ley penal. Antes de adoptar esta nueva legislación, era ilegal que los menores de 18 años consintieran en tener relaciones sexuales anales.
Queensland era el único estado en Australia que tenía diferentes edades permitidas para practicar distintos actos en mutuo acuerdo. La nueva legislación fue introducida por el gobierno laborista. El Ministro de Salud, Cameron Dick, dijo que se necesitaban leyes para «corregir una injusticia» y «proteger la salud de los jóvenes».
«Al eliminar el cargado lenguaje anacrónico y asegurar la igualdad en la edad de consentimiento, el proyecto de ley no sólo mejorará la salud sexual sino también la mental para los jóvenes de Queensland».
Los argumentos a favor de la legislación sugieren que los comportamientos de alto riesgo para la transmisión del SIDA no son dados a conocer a los profesionales si el paciente piensa que podría tener consecuencias legales por sus acciones.
Por supuesto que aquellos que se abstienen de una conducta sexual inmoral, normalmente no contraen enfermedades mortales como el SIDA.
A los ciudadanos de Queensland se les dice que a fin de tener igualdad, se requiere que todos tengan igual acceso a los servicios de salud. La existencia de un rango de edades diferentes era un obstáculo para acceder con equidad a los servicios de salud sexual. Además, una edad de consentimiento desigual ha estigmatizado las relaciones LGBTIQ contribuyendo al aislamiento y soledad de los jóvenes LGBTIQ de Queensland.
El movimiento LGBTIQ continúa su avance en Australia y otras naciones promoviendo sus intereses en abierta rebelión contra el consejo de Dios.

It’s got nothing to do with you or your religion. This is a common sense approach to the health of young Queenslanders. Heterosexuals also engage in anal sex, more so than gay men. Do I hear you condemning them?

Sodomy is one of the fulfillments of Bible prophecy. Though some heterosexuals engage in sodomy, the article was about homosexuals in particular. There is only one way for homosexuals to engage in sexual activity, whereas heterosexuals can engage to two types. Sodomy is forbidden in scripture for either gays or straights, and is a sign of the end times, whether some wish to acknowledge it or not.
