The Transpacific Partnership (TPP) between 12 countries was signed on Thursday February 4, 2016 in Auckland New Zealand amid massive protests. The sweeping trade deal has been called the “biggest trade deal in a generation.” The TPP is promoted on the basis that it will free up trade and investment between the countries that signed it.
However, the TPP is really a globalist agenda because it brings the nations together into partnership in economic trade and commerce, which will eventually lead to political realignment and integration. Trade is always the beginning point in political integration.
Thousands of protestors came to central Auckland to protest the elitist agreement. Protestors chanted, played music and generally made lots of noise. They disrupted a lot of traffic with a minimum of people, completely overwhelming police resources. They sat down in the middle of the road and at intersections causing huge traffic jams along main routes into and out of the city.
Protestors opposed the secrecy of the negotiations, the erosion of sovereignty, the ability of corporations to sue the government, and the agreement’s effects on government.
Despite the protests the TPP representatives of the 12 nations signed agreement in SkyCity while police barricaded the doors. The agreement still needs to be ratified by the 12 respective parliaments and Congresses. The U.S. Senate has signaled that it is not happy with the agreement, but political leaders believe that it will be ratified. No doubt more partners will be allowed to join the agreement in due time.
Many business leaders support the TPP because these “merchants of the earth,” as the Bible calls them, stand to gain more access to markets and customers. They will support the TPP because it helps them with their business model, at least for a while.
Regionalization leads to globalization. Globalization brings the world under fewer and fewer leaders. Eventually, they will look to the Catholic Church as their guide, particularly in things she defines as moral. At the moment this is difficult to see. However, the biggest business leaders in the world, the CEO of Alphabet (the parent company of Google), the CEO of Apple, and movies Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, IMF Director Christine Lagarde, etc. have all been to visit the pope in Rome. The Bible predicted that the kings of the earth work together to create a globalized world, including globalized religion. The process is well under way.
“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies” Revelation 18:3
