“I think Trump is more one of us. He’s not an elitist. He doesn’t look down his nose at evangelicals and Christians and conservatives. I’m very shocked by how accessible he is to so many. He answers his cellphone any time of the day or night.” Jerry Falwell, Jr., President of Liberty University, speaking about Protestant evangelicals’ attitude toward US President Donald Trump.

Elitist? Trump is rich-elitism is a by-product of being rich; he doesn’t have to display it, his riches allow him to think it
Doesn’t look down his nose at Evangelicals, Christians, and Conservatives?- Trump has no regards in matters related to upholding good, strong moral religion and these stated groups listed do not represent the pure and true Christianity as outlined in the holy scriptures
Accessible to so many? Trump does not congregate with the poor, widows and orphans -only his own cliques (Money and Politics)
He answers his cellphone any time of he day/night? Do you really think he would answer a call from me or the poor, widows or orphans? He will answer calls from his own cliques only (Money and Politics)
Mr. Falwell is referring to his own cliques (Religious and Political) Probably for that Government Dole set up for religious organizations such as this
The quote is a sad and delusional view.
