  While men are sleeping, Satan is actively arranging matters so that the Lord’s people may not have mercy or justice. The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending. Its professions are mild and apparently Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal the spirit of the dragon. {CCh 335.2}
  It is one of Satan’s devices to combine with falsehood just enough truth to give it plausibility. The leaders of the Sunday movement may advocate reforms which the people need, principles which are in harmony with the Bible; yet while there is with these a requirement which is contrary to God’s law, His servants cannot unite with them.   The first beast Rev13:3received the deadly wound (1798) which was healed. Many believe that healing was in 1923 when he was given land in Italy yet the beast has not achieved political power enough to command the whole world to worship the first beast. The second best rev13:11 usually defined as the United States (and image of the first beast) completes the healing of the deadly wound by providing political and ecclesiastical power then causing the whole world to worship the first beast on pain of death.   Trump with his Evangelicals might fulfill the below predictions from the SOP

  „A time is coming when the Law of God is, in a special sense, to be made void in our land. The rulers of our nation will, by legislative enactments, enforce the Sunday law, and thus God’s people be brought into great peril. When our nation, in its legislative councils, shall enact laws to bind the consciences of
  men in regard to their religious privileges, enforcing Sunday observance, and bringing oppressive power to bear against those who keep the seventh-day Sabbath, the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in our land; and national apostasy will be followed by national ruin. We see that
  those who are now keeping the commandments of God need to bestir themselves, that they may obtain the special help which God alone can give them. They should work more earnestly to delay as long as possible the threatened calamity. If, in our land of boasted freedom, a Protestant government should sacrifice every principle which enters into its Constitution, and propagate papal falsehood and delusion,
  well may we plead, “It is time for thee, Lord, to work, for they have made void thy law.” Some may think that because it has been revealed in prophecy that our nation shall restrict the consciences of men, it
  must surely come; and that if we make an effort to preserve our liberty, we shall be acting the part of unfaithful servants, and thus come under the condemnation of God“.{RH December 18,1888, Art.A,par. 6}
  The substitution of the laws of men for the law of God, the exaltation, by merely human authority, of Sunday in place of the Bible Sabbath, is the last act in the drama. When this substitution becomes universal, God will reveal Himself. He will arise in His majesty to shake terribly the earth. He will come
  out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the world for their iniquity, and the earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.—Testimonies for the Church 7:141. {ChS 160.2}
  When our nation shall so abjure the principles of its government as to enact a Sunday law, Protestantism will in this act join hands with popery; it will be nothing else than giving life to the tyranny which has long been eagerly watching its opportunity to spring again into active despotism.—

  By the decree of enforcing the institution of the Papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf
  to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with Spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and Republican government, and shall make provision for

  Through fraud and falsehood Satan is now using those who claim to be Christians to divorce the world from God’s mercy. They are working in blindness. They do not see that if a Protestant government sacrifices the principles that have made them a free, independent nation, and through legislation brings into the Constitution, principles that will propagate papal falsehood and papal delusion, they are plunging into the Roman horrors of the Dark Ages. But this need not be, just at this point of time, if the church is aroused to her duty and her work. A vast responsibility is devolving upon men and women of prayer throughout the land, to petition that God may sweep back this cloud of evil, and give a few more
  years of grace to work for the Master. {RH December 11, 1888, Art. C, par. 13}

  While it is good to keep up with the events of the world, is this coming at the expense of events that are happening in the church, i.e. the Sanctuary doctrine and the Three Angel’s Messages?

  As the big issue today,appears to rest on whether Dan. 8:9-11 applies to Rome, the crucifixion of Christ, and the destruction of the earthly temple, cf. 4BC, or to the Papacy, and a papal host that has overthrown the heavenly host, and the heavenly temple, cf. 12 BC and recent SS Lessons etc..

  Consequently KTF may wish to comment on this issue and consider additional points presented in the short paper, „A Proposed Way Forward.“

  If Rome , (along with Babylon), is missing in Daniel 8, (the current church teaching that has evolved post Glacier View), and verses 9-11 apply to the Papacy only, the explanation of the mar’eh vision, cf. verse 16, given to Daniel in 9:24-27 does not make sense.

    Our mission is to link current events with bible prophecy and encourage people to get ready for the coming of the Lord. We are not a site limited to SDAs only. We are a public site and that carries certain restrictions with it as you should know. We do address issues within Adventism occasionally when they impinge on the larger prophetic issues developing around us. If you were paying regular attention to our posts, you would have known that. Having said that, the internet is still a wide open market place. You are welcome to develop a site that suits you and post to your hearts content.   Since the 1950’s I have studied about this End Time Events: My grandparents & my parents, now myself, my children & grandchildren…. So it’s finally here!!! Now how do I convince my children &grandchildren in University to leave the cities & come to the mountains??? This is the moment when Faith in God is the most important!!! We as a Sabbath keeping people have to be an example in order for the whole world to see &following in our footsteps million will be saved!!!
