Samstag, der 11. Mai 2024 at 00:53What I find interesting is how people can be so precisely divided. We tend to be right or left conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, red or blue with very few shades of grey. How have we become so neatly and nearly militantly divided? I believe media, especially „social“ media has played a huge part. A man i know of suggests this divide has been created intentionally for nefarious purposes and a plan to bring in one charismatic person later to calm things down, bringing peace and unity at the cost of some or all of our rights. Whatever the cause the effect is a deeply divide nation. People believe their choice in the election will make a difference. I believe the devil is behind all of this and no human ruler can make a positive change. None except the man Christ Jesus. He said „Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.“ (Matthew 22:21). I believe Christians should avoid human politics altogether. We can have thoughts and opinions but we should belong to no other party and own our allegiance to none other than Jesus. And we need to be about our Fathers work…sharing the message to all who will listen. We don’t need a leader in Washington or Rome. We have a leader in the courts above.
