Samstag, der 20. April 2024 at 07:00I understand their rationale regarding Sabbath although i disagree strongly. Superficially it seems to make sense but it is a stretch of the human mind, an inference that is unfounded. We need a plain „Thus sayeth the Lord“ and there is none. I think we can separate the „Law of Moses“ AKA the ceremonial law, the law regarding the sanctuary service from the „Moral law of God“ AKA the 10 commandments. The sanctuary and its ceremonies pointed to Jesus. It was made obsolete at the cross. God’s moral law is a mirror for us to look at to see our need for His grace and mercy that we might be made, remade in His image.
