Daily News and Analysis (DNA), by Santosh Kumar: PM Modi-led NDA [National Democratic Alliance] government [of India] is likely to bring an anti-conversion bill in the next Parliament session, according to sources.
As per sources, the bill will prevent the practice of any kind of religious conversion. Reports suggest that the government is preparing to introduce the bill in the next session of Parliament.
Meanwhile, the recently concluded Parliament session was one of the most productive sessions as it passed as many as 30 bills, creating a record for the number of bills passed in a single session after the constitution of a new Lok Sabha.
In a release issued by [the] Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, it said the session has been historic in many ways as legislations relating to almost all walks of socio and economic activities have been passed.
