Vatican Deeply Involved in Change in U.S. Cuban Relations

Sunday December 21st, 2014

“I want to thank His Holiness, Pope Francis, whose moral example shows us the importance of pursuing the world as it should be, rather than simply settling for the world as it is,” Obama said Wednesday. The president was speaking about the intervention of the pope in mending the half-century chilly relationship between the United States and Cuba.

For the pope, the change in relations represents a major geopolitical wish. Francis acted as the chief advocate for renewing diplomatic relations between the two nations. He made a personal plea to President Obama and Cuban leaders in a letter he wrote last summer urging that the two nations should “reset” their relations.

When Obama met the pope at the Vatican last March, the two men discussed a change in U.S.-Cuba relations. The Vatican also hosted trade and diplomatic talks between U.S. and Cuban delegations in October.

“The Holy Father wishes to express his warm congratulations for the historic decision taken by the Governments of the United States of America and Cuba to establish diplomatic relations, with the aim of overcoming, in the interest of the citizens of both countries, the difficulties which have marked their recent history,” wrote the Vatican Secretary of State. Also, Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State regularly lobbied American envoys to relax the economic embargo on Cuba. And the U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, Miguel Diaz (2009-2012), said he regularly raised the issue of an American prisoner in Cuba with his Vatican interlocutors regularly, especially before Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Cuba in 2012. “We now have people in the highest offices of the Catholic Church who understand the situation in Cuba, the situation in Latin America, and who also understand the need for a different roadmap to lasting peace,” Diaz said.

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.” Daniel 8:25

“…the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her…” Revelation 18:3

In the article Poland is mentioned. It was the Pope and Reagan who helped end communism there. Prophecy says, “by peace he shall destroy many”. It is the same kind of “Roman Peace” from the dark ages. The first step is to be seen as a peacemaker, then he will seem trustworthy, then he will be given moor power. When he is given Governmental authority among the nations, then the “deadly wound” will be fully healed. Then he will show his true colors: persecution of those who don’t believe the same thing will begin. But that persecution will come from the other churches because they will be in agreement with the pope.
Exciting and serious times we live in. Thanks for sharing.

You are right in what you say. Reagan signed the Concordat with the Papacy in the 1980’s, against our laws. When Reagan told Gorbachev to bring the German Wall down, he already knew it was coming down. like you said it was the Papacy behind it, just like with this Cuban relations stuff. When Obama ran the first time, he said he was going to work on Cuba/U.S. relations and to close Gitmo. The Papacy is behind both of them too. The whole real truth has not come out yet, when it does then people will know the truth to it’s fullest.

Just another sign of the times that we are living in. May we work while we can to warn the world about the last message to be given to the world in Revelation 14. Lets us link into the power that will help us to witness. God bless KTF as it continues to be on top of all that is occurring in the world.

Historically, the last time there was a confederacy with the pope and other nations; it was with ronald reagan, germany, and russia: Ultimate result— “The Holocaust.”
” For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape…” 1Thessalonians 5:3
