Time Magazine Picks Angela Merkel as Person of the Year

Time has its reasons for picking the person of the year. They usually try to pick a person who has made the most impact on global society. Yes, it’s true, they support globalization, and Merkel is a “poster child” of European regionalization, which is just a step toward globalization.

True she has battled some serious stuff in 2015, including an economic crisis that could have destroyed the European Union. She was not alone in her war on Europe’s crisis-plagued economy, however. She had help from Mario Draghi, the president of the European Central Bank, Mario Monti, one time prime minister of Italy, and the leaders of the EU in Brussels. But as head of the largest European Economy, guiding the European Union through the crisis without it breaking apart was not a task for the faint hearted. Merkel is tough and determined.

Then, more recently, the chancellor opened the arms of Germany to a million or more Syrian refugees that created a negative reaction from western citizens around the world, including her own, but which, perhaps, ultimately galvanized Time’s choice. While Germany and the nations to the south and east struggle with the flood of middle-eastern migrants, other nations have at least tacitly come to her aid, including the United States as well as other nations of Europe, by offering to take a few off her hands.

In the wake of the Paris and San Bernardino attacks, however, fears that the refugees are infiltrated with Islamic terrorists has driven the controversy to new heights. From an internationalist point of view, the massive influx of refugees forces the nations, particularly Germany, as the leader of the EU, to integrate almost completely different societies. This is a key globalist aim. But along with the integration comes conflict, war and terrorism, which in turn pushes governments to create new security mechanisms and tools to deal with the conflict, or expand and strengthen the ones that already exist.

But the choice of Merkel as Time’s Person of the Year also underscores the magazine’s globalist leanings. Merkel represents the epitome of global elite thinking. The fact that she opened Germany’s doors over the express objections of the German people, who recognized the action as a threat to the country’s national security, culture, freedom and stability is a distinct globalist tactic. Political elites do what is necessary to achieve their own ends, not what is in the interests of the people. And that is the nature of globalization.

For all of his blustery bravado, Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, one of Time’s runner-ups, picked up on that when he said, “I told you Time magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the favorite. They picked the person ruining Germany.” And Merkel is ruining Germany, or at least socially re-engineering Germany into a subservient state of the new world order.

In choosing Merkel, Time noted the following: “Not once or twice but three times there has been reason to wonder this year whether Europe could continue to exist, not culturally or geographically but as a historic experiment in ambitious statecraft.”

Ambitious statecraft it is indeed. The European Union is the most advanced regional block of nations under a supranational government in the world. The Russians tried to dominate the Soviet Union in a globalist vision of autocratic control and repression; Merkel on the other hand has played a key role in welding the nations of Europe into a regional state that now controls most aspects of European society in a “soft-glove” socialism that seeks to merge the nations of Europe into a federal state controlled by a few bureaucrats in Brussels, most of whom are Roman Catholic. In fact, the Catholic Church is encouraging the rise of the European superstate because it is essentially resurrecting the Holy Roman Empire.

Time acknowledged the globalist principle by saying, “Leaders are tested only when people don’t want to follow.” Doing the opposite of the express desire of the people is not democratic at all. It is dictatorial. “For asking more of her country than most politicians would dare,” Time continued, “for standing firm against tyranny as well as expedience and for proving steadfast moral leadership in a world where it is in short supply, Angela Merkel is Time’s Person of the Year.”

Hang on, what does it mean when a government forces something upon its people that they do not want? Isn’t that a form of tyranny? Time distorts the truth. It is a myth to think that you can have it both ways. Either the government supports the democratic principle or it supports tyranny. Which is it going to be?

Time and its elite media cronies apparently love Merkel and believe they can paint her as standing against tyranny when she actually stands for it. That’s why she got Time’s designation as Person of the Year, according to Time’s own statement.

Making Merkel Person of the Year on the basis of her “moral” leadership is also curious. What morals drive leaders to work against the will of their own people? It is the morality of a dictator, which hardly qualifies as moral.

While Donald Trump defies and scandalizes the establishment, he is one of the most popular political critics of the elites that there is. Time certainly doesn’t have the stomach to affirm that. Not even Trump himself thought they would give it to him.

Daniel 3:4-6 says that “an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”

The global establishment media will play a vital role in the establishment of the new world order by spinning lies and hypocrisy to favor of the principles of globalism, including globalist worship.
