U.S. President Obama is “hugely impressed” with Pope Francis’ humble style. In an interview question about his thoughts on Pope Francis’ remarks that the church is too focused on gay rights and abortion, Obama said, “I tell you, I have been hugely impressed with the pope’s pronouncements. Not because of any particular issue… First of all, he seems somebody who lives out the teachings of Christ,” he added. “Incredible humility, an incredible sense of empathy to the least of these, the poor.”
President Obama has not visited with Pope Francis, but praises him as predicted in scripture. See Revelation 13:3, 4.
