Patriarch Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, who is head of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, will meet with Pope Francis in May in Jerusalem. He said he looks forward to the meeting “with expectant joy and an abiding sense of fraternity…”
