“God’s ok with Bombing North Korea” says Pastor/Advisor to Trump

Texas pastor Robert Jeffress, one of President Trump’s evangelical advisors said that God has given the president “full control” to take out North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Jeffress, who is the pastor of the First Baptist Dallas Church, wrote that Romans 13 has endowed “rulers’ full power to use whatever means necessary – including war – to stop evil.”

“In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong-Un,” Jeffress said. “I’m heartened to see that our president – contrary to what we’ve seen with past administrations who have taken, at best, a sheepish stance toward dictators and oppressors – will not tolerate any threat against the American people.”

As tensions heightened between the United States and North Korea, Jeffress’ comments were made public the same day Mr. Trump promised “fire and fury” on the reclusive nation and its leader if it didn’t abandon its nuclear program. North Korea responded to Mr. Trump’s remarks by threatening to strike the U.S. territory of Guam.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Jeffress said that Roman’s 13 “gives the government… the authority to do whatever, whether it’s assassination, capital punishment or evil punishment to quell the actions of evildoers like Kim Jong Un.”

Jeffress has also preached sermons in support of other aspects of Mr. Trump’s agenda. “The first step of rebuilding the nation,” he said once, “was the building of a great wall. God instructed Nehemiah to build a wall around Jerusalem to protect its citizens from enemy attack. You see, God is NOT against building walls!”

Evangelical leaders are all in with Mr. Trump and will find biblical support for anything they want him to do.

“The Spirit of God is being grieved away from the earth. The nations are angry with one another. Widespread preparations are being made for war. The night is at hand.” Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 9, page 26.

The government enacts repressive laws against Christianity. Persecution is especially difficult in the north where there are killings and torture of Christians, the spread of anti-Christian propaganda. India apparently intends to abolish Christianity in India by 2020.
