Algunas de ellas han sido muy famosas y han generado una gran venta de libros y suplementos, enriqueciendo a sus promotores. Sin embargo, estas dietas han existido desde al menos 1864, y han resucitado una y otra vez para imponerse entre un p\u00fablico cr\u00e9dulo. Atkins, South Beach, La Zona y otras dietas similares afirman que el mundo cient\u00edfico est\u00e1 enga\u00f1ado y sugieren que se ignoren estudios bien controlados.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfHay que evitar los carbohidratos para reducir el peso?
