Un nuevo estudio de Suecia muestra que las mujeres que ten\u00edan un buen estado f\u00edsico en la mitad de su vida, tienen casi 90% menos probabilidades de contraer demencia d\u00e9cadas m\u00e1s tarde. Despu\u00e9s de las pruebas iniciales de ejercicio en la mediana edad, los investigadores siguieron a las mujeres durante 44 a\u00f1os. Ambos grupos vivieron el mismo tiempo, pero los que pudieron andar en bicicleta de forma acelerada durante 6 minutos en la prueba inicial, tuvieron m\u00e1s tarde un riesgo mucho menor de demencia que aquellos que no pudieron completar el entrenamiento.<\/p>\n<p>Hace tiempo que se sabe que existe una correlaci\u00f3n entre el ejercicio y la disminuci\u00f3n de la posibilidad de sufrir de demencia pero los resultados han sido muy evidentes.
