El magnesio es el responsable de m\u00e1s de 300 reacciones bioqu\u00edmicas en el cuerpo. \u00c9ste tiene que ver con la presi\u00f3n arterial, el metabolismo, la funci\u00f3n inmune y muchos otros aspectos relacionados con nuestra salud. Algunos expertos afirman que la deficiencia de magnesio es el problema mayor de salud en nuestro mundo actual.<\/p>\n<p>Hay muchas razones por las cuales esta deficiencia es tan com\u00fan en estos tiempos modernos (a pesar de no haberlo sido en el pasado). Por ejemplo, las condiciones pobres de los suelos indican que las plantas tienen poco magnesio. El uso de qu\u00edmicos como el fluoruro y el cloro en el agua de suministro hace que esta disminuya la posibilidad de tener magnesio ya que estos qu\u00edmicos se pueden adherir al magnesio. Al consumir alimentos ricos en magnesio se puede corregir en gran manera esta deficiencia. Por ejemplo, una taza de espinaca tiene 157 mg., una taza de acelga tiene 154 mg. y un \u215b de taza de semillas de calabaza tiene 92 mg. Una taza de almendras tiene 80 mg. Media taza de fr\u00edjoles negros tiene 60 mg. Medio aguacate tiene 58 mg. Media taza de higos tiene 50 mg. Y una banana mediana tiene 32 mg. Y hay muchos otras buenas fuentes de magnesio en los alimentos vegetales.<\/p>\n<p>Con todos estos alimentos ricos en magnesio, nadie deber\u00eda sufrir de deficiencia.
