E.U. and U.S. Promote Integration, Push Globalization

European Council President Donald Tusk and U.S. President Barack Obama advocated more globalism when they met at the White House on Monday, March 9, 2015 to discuss the Ukraine. President Barack Obama said ”we are all committed to making sure that we uphold the basic principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity that have been threatened by Russian aggression. Tusk, the former Polish Prime Minister said that ”when we are united, we will be able to put a stop to the aggressive policy of Russia against her neighbors.”

Tusk said that unity is necessary also to deal with jihadist threats, and with regard to negotiations for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. ”Although these are three different – very different challenges, they have a common denominator, I think. It’s a need, maybe greater than ever before, a need for unity of Europe and the United States.”

In other words, the two leaders are using international distress to push for more consolidation of power over whole regions of the world. Trade agreements, like the one on which the U.S. and the EU are working, called the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, is the foundation for eventually merging the political order of the U.S. and Europe.

“We are, I think today, calling into question even our fundamental values, like freedom, freedom of democracy, prosperity and, for sure, the political order,” Tusk added. “Today, we can see with full clarity that they [our enemies] are trying to divide us, from inside of Europe, as well as Europe and America.”

Tusk is telling us that we are going to lose our freedoms, our prosperity as well as the political order when the merger between the U.S. and the EU matures.

Tusk stressed that we will have success, “having acted together in the field of the economy and free trade… Now is the best time to act…”

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership is a free trade agreement that expands political integration between nations and reduces sovereignty. Free trade agreements are the foundation of economic globalization, which is in turn the foundation for political integration and global government. Globalization of the economy and politics is essential for the globalization of religion. See Revelation 13:8
