On the occasion of the 16th National Day for the Custody of Creation on the theme “Walking in a new life. The ecological transition for the care of life”, the diocese of Forlì-Bertinoro proposes for tomorrow, Saturday 4 September, an event that will take place at the parish of Pieveacquedotto. From 5 pm the meeting “For a true ecological transition / conversion in families and parishes” will take place organized by Social Pastoral, Caritas, Migrantes Service and Missionary Office, with testimonies and reflections of associations, movements, businesses, parish groups, religious communities, exponents of other faiths who in recent years have been involved in various ways on the theme of the environment with the presence also of the Orthodox, Adventist and Muslim communities. The event, which will take place in compliance with anti-Covid regulations and which can be accessed by showing the “green pass”, will be broadcast live on the diocese’s YouTube channel.
It will also be possible to visit the exhibition “Laudato si”. Itinerary on the encyclical of Pope Francis “which can also be set up in parishes.
On Sunday 5 September, the day will be celebrated during the festive masses.
